2026 DCLC Adult Background Check

Thank you to all adults for your cooperation in further assuring the safety of our Key Club members. Note the important points below:

Key Club International policy requires that every adult in attendance at the convention (school or Kiwanis advisors, chaperones, etc.) must have passed a background check administered by Kiwanis within the last 24 months. Essentially, this applies to all individuals registering for the convention who are over the age of 18 and are not Key Club members.

Each adult who will be attending the convention will need to submit their name and email address by January 30, 2026; the list will be evaluated to determine which adults need to complete a background check. Those who need to complete a background check will be contacted via the email address provided.

Fees associated with background checks will be covered for those adults who register for the convention to serve as a club chaperone; all other background checks are $35.

This process is for background checks only and does not take the place of convention registration. All adults will still need to register for the convention utilizing the main convention website.
